Due to the ongoing misuse, abuse, and repeated shortages of stimulant medications, as well as frequent misdiagnosis in the United States, Better Mental Health Services DOES NOT do evaluations for diagnosis of new Adult (over the age of 18) ADHD cases. Clients with prior diagnosis with prior diagnosis of ADHD seeking continued treatment must provide proof of prior diagnosis in the form of medical records and/or proof of prior prescription treatment for ADHD. Mental Health Services does not prescribe stimulant treatment for ADHD to adults beyond the age of 60.
