No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act protects clients covered under group or individual health plans and/or uninsured or self-pay clients from receiving “surprise” bills for most emergency and/or non-emergency treatment from out-of-network providers.
Better Mental Health Services will provide a “Good Faith Estimate” for anticipated services upon request. If you receive a bill more than $400 above the good faith estimate, you may dispute this bill.

**Better Mental Health Services, PLLC is contracted to work with the insurance carriers listed, however this does not guarantee we are in-network with your specific plan. Please contact your insurance carrier prior to your first scheduled appointment to confirm Better Mental Health Services, PLLC/Kellie Bement, ARNP are in-network for you. Out-of-network status may incur higher co-pay, out-of-pocket costs, and/or rejection/denial of claims. It is your responsibility to make sure your insurance coverage is active at the time of your visit(s). Lapses in insurance coverage and/or lack of prior authorization for out-of-network services provided will result in services being billed at private pay rates to the client.
