No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act protects clients covered under group or individual health plans and/or uninsured or self-pay clients from receiving “surprise” bills for most emergency and/or non-emergency treatment from out-of-network providers.
Better Mental Health Services will provide a “Good Faith Estimate” for anticipated services upon request. If you receive a bill more than $400 above the good faith estimate, you may dispute this bill.

**Please contact your insurance provider prior to your first scheduled appointment to assure Better Mental Health Services/Dr. Kellie Bement is covered by your insurance policy. Charges for services will vary depending on “in-network” or “out of network” status. Co-pays are due at the time of service. A valid credit card is required to be kept on file. Lapses in insurance coverage may result in services being billed at private pay rates.
